Introducing Chatvim: The First AI Product from EarthBucks

Today, I’m happy to introduce Chatvim (chatvim.nvim and chatvim.cli), a new AI chat product from EarthBucks.

Chatvim is a new set of tools based on the following ideas:

• Users should be able to manage their AI chats as markdown files on their own computer.
• These chats should work inside the command line, editor, browser, system tray, and wherever else the user is.
• The chat should focus on code, but can include other subjects.
• Users should be able to pick from different AI service providers.
• Users should be able to pay for AI services with EarthBucks and other cryptocurrencies.

Chatvim was created and has been in production for months now, but after much thought, I decided to change the ownership of the project to EarthBucks to reflect my new orientation toward AI.

Moving forward, EarthBucks will be an AI-first blockchain whose primary purpose is to marry self-custodial cryptocurrency with AI.

Chatvim has not yet integrated the EarthBucks blockchain, but that is high on my list of priorities.
